3:00am Wake Up Call.
Where is my daughter
Yesterday, 15 October 2026, we completed and submitted our evidence to the House of Lords Public Services Committee’s inquiry into children’s social care.
This submission forms part of our continuing efforts to raise serious concerns about children’s safeguarding, the conduct of local authorities, accountability, and the treatment of families affected by decisions made within the children’s social care system.
Our submission draws on the concerns and evidence we have raised in relation to my daughter, Emily, including alleged failures in safeguarding, assessment procedures, the accuracy of official records, institutional accountability and the protection of children’s rights.
The deadline for public submissions is Monday 26 October 2026 at 11:59 pm.
Time is running out, and I strongly encourage parents, grandparents, care-experienced people, professionals and other individuals with relevant knowledge or evidence to take this opportunity to make their voices heard.
The inquiry is examining the children’s social care system, including the support available to families, the protection of children, the suitability of care arrangements and the effectiveness of existing services.
You do not have to be a lawyer or a professional to contribute. The Committee welcomes evidence from anyone who can address its questions, and you do not need to answer all 15 questions.
If you have evidence of safeguarding failures, inaccurate assessments, disability discrimination, failures to support families or other systemic concerns, consider making a factual, documented submission.
This is an opportunity to place those concerns before a Parliamentary committee examining the operation of children’s social care.

Please do not leave your evidence until the deadline.
Children and families deserve proper safeguarding, accountability, fair procedures and decisions based on accurate evidence.
