Mara: Martin Newbold’s recent posts cover two distinct but connected territories: the documentary record around Epstein, Blair, and a missing child’s case files, and a technical question about whether emails from an investigative charity can actually be traced to a physical location.

Pip: Let’s start with the records — and who’s being accused of lying about them.

Who’s Hiding What: Epstein, Blair, and the Paper Trail

Mara: The central question here is whether official records — court documents, FOIA responses, cremation records — have been manipulated or withheld, and who bears responsibility for that.

Pip: The post “Who Are the Liars?” sets up the Blair-Epstein connection directly, and then asks the question that the whole piece is built around.

Mara: The post states: “Documents published in UK National Archives show Tony Blair met Jeffrey Epstein at Downing Street on 14 May 2002. In her memoir published October 2025, Virginia Giuffre claims she was raped by a ‘well-known prime minister’, but the memoir does not name him.”

Pip: So the post is careful to note the memoir doesn’t name Blair — but argues no other UK Prime Minister’s timeline fits as closely. That’s a logical inference, not a confirmed identification, and the post treats it as grounds for a formal investigation request.

Mara: Right. The post calls for “a full investigation of all records between No 10, the Treasury, and local authorities in relation to Epstein’s network.” That’s the ask — not an accusation of guilt, but a demand that the documentary trail be examined rather than closed off.

Pip: And the closing line of that section does the work quietly: “If they can’t prove the opposite, then they can’t refute what I’m alleging.”

Mara: The second post in this theme, the FOIA appeal concerning records identified as EFTA01656139-41, extends that logic into a formal transparency dispute. It challenges redactions in an email chain dated July 6, 2021, which references someone called “Epstein” — and asks whether that individual is Jeffrey Epstein or someone else entirely.

Pip: A reasonable question, given that the law cited — Public Law 119-38 — explicitly bars redactions made purely to avoid embarrassment or political sensitivity.

Mara: The FOIA post also raises the cremation records for Cathryn Louise Peters. On 20 September 2023, Hastings said there was no cremation in that name. The very next day, after different name details were supplied, they confirmed a cremation on 7 June 2010. The ashes were collected by funeral directors Banfield and Pomphrey and never returned to the crematorium.

Pip: Two different answers on consecutive days, depending on which name you use. That’s not a clerical quirk — that’s the kind of discrepancy that makes every subsequent silence look deliberate.

Mara: The post asks directly: who collected the ashes, on what date, under what name, and who authorised their destruction? No family member was informed. No family member collected them.

Pip: And the FOIA appeal wraps by noting that Prime Minister Keir Starmer, as head of government, has remained silent while these accountability questions accumulate. The post frames that silence not as an oversight but as a policy choice.

Mara: That thread — documents that change, ashes that disappear, officials who don’t reply — is what makes the email-tracing question in the next post feel less like a technical curiosity and more like part of the same pattern.

Who Sent That Email, and From Where?

Mara: The post “Who are Locate International — Social Workers using a remote system?” investigates whether emails from the missing-persons charity Locate International can be traced to a specific physical sender.

Pip: Short answer: no. Longer answer, which the post works through carefully: the IP address in the headers points to infrastructure, not a person.

Mara: The post puts it plainly: “The email appears to have been sent through a 20i-hosted mail system, not from a location that can be physically attributed to the sender from the headers alone.”

Pip: So the IP address is a relay, not a room. The sender could be in Devon, at home, or abroad — and the email would look identical either way.

Mara: Which matters here because the question of who is actually communicating — and from where — sits right alongside the broader accountability questions the other posts are raising.
