It appears in a letter from the Office of the New Mexico Attorney General to the U.S. Attorney’s Office as part of efforts to secure forfeiture of Epstein’s property and assist federal prosecutors.  It is a July 8, 2020 letter from the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office to the Acting United States Attorney in New York. The letter was part of investigative and asset-forfeiture efforts, and it argued that the Zorro Ranch in New Mexico was used to support Epstein’s trafficking activities and to help conceal those crimes. The exact wording you quoted — “used by Epstein and others to facilitate the commission and prolonged concealment of his trafficking of children”

I am writing therefore as a concerned parent regarding your recent investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s flights linked to the UK, which reported that some British women were on board and later alleged abuse.
