🟦 For victims, families, or helpers
If someone you know has been trafficked—even inside one country—you can report it directly to the United Nations. Follow these nine easy steps
Website: https://spsubmission.ohchr.org
(This is the UN’s official “Blue Panel” form.)
Ensure your fields are no more that 4000 character and spaces.
You will need:
Any documents or letters that show what happened (you can upload them later) go past this stage with next and back to upload them if you do not do this it will not save changes, and you will have to rekey it all again. Work from a matter document so that you have text to place in the fields. The more mandates i.e items you use trafficking in persons, especially women and children. the more data you will be expected to provide please include trafficking in persons in any five options you choose.
A laptop or computer (the site doesn’t work well on phones)
Your email address
Even if your case stayed within one country, you can still report it to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children. Why? Because under international law, trafficking doesn’t require crossing a border. It only requires:
• Fraud, coercion, or abuse of power
• For the purpose of exploitation or separation
• Of a vulnerable person—especially a child
