[00:00–00:18] – Rep. Thomas Massie (Kentucky):
According to victims who cooperated with the FBI in that investigation, these documents in FBI possession—your possession—detail at least twenty men, including Mr. Jess Staley, CEO of Barclays Bank, whom Jeffrey Epstein trafficked victims to, including minors such as Virginia Roberts Giuffre—may she rest in peace.

[00:18–00:39] – Massie:
That list also includes at least nineteen other individuals: one Hollywood producer worth a few hundred million dollars, one royal prince, one high-profile individual in the music industry, one very prominent banker, one high-profile government official, one high-profile former politician, one owner of a car company in Italy, one rock star, one magician, and at least six billionaires—including a billionaire from Canada.

[00:39–00:53] – Narrator (Liberal Lens):
When a sitting congressman lists Epstein’s powerful associates on record and the FBI Director still dodges, that’s not just silence — that’s protection. And today you’re going to see it happen in real time.

[00:53–00:57] – Massie:
Mr. Chairman, I have a unanimous-consent request.

[00:57–00:58] – Chair:
The gentleman is recognized.

[00:58–01:54] – Massie:
So, I’ve got four documents I’d like to introduce into the record.

  1. Jeffrey Epstein’s Sick Story Played Out for Years in Plain SightAcosta is quoted here saying, “I was told Epstein belonged to intelligence and to leave it alone.”
  2. What Epstein’s Bodyguard Warned About His CIA Connections.
  3. A Fox Digital piece titled Epstein’s Private Calendar Reveals Planned Meetings with Obama Admin Official CIA Chief.
  4. A Wall Street Journal article highlighting Ehud Barak’s 36 meetings with Jeffrey Epstein — he was the former Prime Minister of Israel and head of Israeli military intelligence; he may have held that title when he met Epstein.

[01:54–02:04] – Chair / Rep. Jamie Raskin (Maryland):
Without objection, the gentleman will hold for a second.
Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Just one UC request: This is Judge Engelmayer’s decision from August in U.S. v. Epstein stating the government’s 100,000 pages of Epstein files dwarf the 70-odd pages of grand-jury materials.

[02:13–02:17] – Chair:
Without objection, the gentleman from Kentucky is recognized for five minutes.

[02:17–03:03] – Massie (questioning Kash Patel):
Director Patel, I watched part of your Senate hearing yesterday when Senator Kennedy asked you, “Who, if anyone, did Epstein traffic these women to besides himself?”
You replied, “There is no credible information that he trafficked them to anyone else.”
You also said the case files were constrained by limited search warrants from 2006–2007 and that the non-prosecution agreement hamstrung future investigations.
Those constraints apply only to the Southern District of Florida, not to New York where the 2019 indictment was brought and which produced many FD-302 documents.

[03:04–03:55] – Massie:
According to victims who cooperated with the FBI, these documents detail at least twenty men — including Jess Staley — and nineteen others spanning royalty, finance, and entertainment.
We know these people exist in the files you control. I don’t know exactly who they are, but the FBI does.
Have you launched any investigations into them, and have you seen these 302 documents?

[04:12–04:33] – Kash Patel (FBI Director):
Sir, I have asked my FBI agents to review the entirety of the Epstein files and bring forth any credible information. We’re working with Congress to divulge that information and produce it to you; any credible leads will be investigated. There have been no new materials brought to me launching a new indictment.

[04:33–05:11] – Massie ↔ Patel exchange:
Massie: So is it your assertion these victims aren’t credible?
Patel: It’s not my assertion, sir; it’s the assertion of two different U.S. Attorney’s Offices across three administrations who reviewed those materials.
Massie: Are the 302 documents in FBI possession?
Patel: They reviewed all that, yes sir.
Massie: Have you personally read the ones naming the abusers?
Patel: I have not personally, but the FBI has.
Massie: So how can you say there are no names?
Patel: We do not release victims’ names or unverified information; multiple authorities have reviewed everything we have.

[05:41–06:07] – Massie ↔ Patel:
Massie: Were you present at the White House event where the AG released binders to social media influencers?
Patel: I was, yes.
Massie: If you meet with influencers who profit from these stories, will you meet with the victims?
Patel: The FBI will meet with anyone who has new information.
Massie: Will you personally meet them?
Patel: The FBI professionals handling the cases will.

[06:07–06:28] – Massie ↔ Patel:
Massie: Were you instructed to release the documents to Oversight on the day I introduced the petition to release these files?
Patel: I don’t know what day that was—so, no.
Massie: They were released that day without proper redaction, and the victims are angry about it.

[06:29–07:00] – Massie ↔ Patel:
Massie: Have you investigated any CIA connections or seen the CIA file on Epstein?
Patel: Assuming such a file exists, I’ve reviewed everything provided to the FBI. If there’s a file not yet shared, we’ll review it when available.

[07:01–07:18] – Massie ↔ Patel:
Massie: Have you made progress on the pipe-bomb investigation (January 6th) or the Las Vegas shooter motive?
Patel: On the first, ongoing and progress made. On the second, I’ll get back to you.

[07:20–07:28] – Chair / Rep. (New York):
I ask unanimous consent to introduce an unsigned memorandum dated July 7, 2025, stating we did not uncover evidence to predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties within DOJ and FBI.

[07:40–11:10] – Narrator (Liberal Lens closing segment):
What you just witnessed wasn’t a routine oversight hearing — it was one of the most direct confrontations between Congress and the intelligence establishment about who Jeffrey Epstein was connected to.
[…continues through the reflective commentary about institutional secrecy, victims, and justice — ending with:]
“Stay informed, stay loud, and keep asking the questions they refuse to answer. That’s how real change begins. Subscribe to Liberal Lens.” is how a real change begins.
