Following the non-investigation of the LGSO in the case of East Sussex Our ref:
24 012 899 which Justine Mensa-Bonsu Assessment Manager of the LGSO said Mr Price had dealt with, which he meant in our language to mean ignored.

Its stated in this letter dated today: reasons not to pursue investigation to save using scarce public resources. I went to there information services today as the matter had been addressed at the House of Lords and ignored.

I therefore wrote to their information to see if this was honest, as my friends had already informed me they was receiving decisions from the LGSO so this would seem to be directly concerning the criminal negligence and alleged fraud of my case.

Dear FOI Officer,

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the recent statement from the LGSO, which indicated that their funding is insufficient to support their investigation budget. This shortfall is reportedly preventing them from conducting proper, high-quality investigations. To ensure transparency and accountability, I request detailed information on the following:

Specific Budgetary Shortfalls: Please provide a comprehensive breakdown of the budgetary constraints that are affecting the LGSO’s ability to handle complaints. This should include specific figures and areas where the funding is lacking. Impact on Complaint Handling: How many complaints have been affected by this funding shortfall? Please provide data on the number of complaints that have not been handled or have been delayed due to these budgetary issues.

Quality of Investigations: How has the quality of investigations been compromised due to the funding shortfall? Any specific examples or case studies illustrating the impact would be appreciated.

Steps Taken to Address the Issue: What measures, if any, have been taken to address this funding shortfall? Are there any plans or proposals in place to secure additional funding or reallocate existing resources to ensure that all complaints are handled appropriately? Providing this information will help in understanding the extent of the issue and the steps needed to ensure that all complaints are investigated thoroughly and efficiently. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Kind Regards

Martin Newbold
