I am writing to follow up on FOI 4463 and clarify certain discrepancies in the handling of my original request dated November 18, 2024.

My initial email, sent on November 18, 2024, at 10:31 AM, was titled “Data Protection Request – Security Footage and Transcript of November 15, 2024 Event” and included the following:

• A formal request for the security footage and any associated records for the Children and Families Truth Commission Report Launch held in the House of Lords on November 15, 2024.
• Confirmation of the occurrence of this event and details about its records, security measures, and live-stream interruptions.

I received a response from Kimberley Swift on December 16, 2024, addressing some elements of my request. However, critical issues remain unresolved, including:

1. The absence of security footage, which raises concerns about member safety and transparency.
2. A lack of explanation for why no transcript or public record of the event is available.
3. Technical details regarding the disruption of the live stream during the event.

In your communication on January 10, 2025, you stated that FOI 4463 is expected to be addressed by January 22, 2025, but it remains unclear whether this request pertains to a new Freedom of Information submission or the internal review process for the original FOI.

To resolve this matter:

1. Please confirm whether FOI 4463 is a continuation of my initial request or part of the internal review process.
2. Provide a clear timeline for addressing the outstanding issues raised in my November 18 request.
3. Address why the original response did not adequately resolve questions about the event’s transparency and security protocols.

This lack of clarity and incomplete response undermines the principles of lawful data processing under the UK GDPR. I urge you to ensure this matter is resolved promptly.
