Contrary to The SFO stating that its retention period had expired on this item The figures shown in The Stealing of Emily: Institutional Fraud and Toxic Judicial Procedures are drawn from the Operation Alison Media Pack, produced by Gloucestershire Constabulary in October 2004.
This material was released under the Freedom of Information Act in June 2012 (FOI reference 2012.3909) following a request handled by Miss J. Baynes, Information Disclosure Officer, Gloucestershire Constabulary.
The pack was originally created for journalists and press outlets to accompany the prosecution of Robinson’s Solicitors in what became one of the largest legal aid fraud cases in UK history. Between 1993 and 2004, more than 96,000 “Green Forms” were forensically examined. The investigation led to 29 charges, with 22 convictions or guilty pleas, including a seven-year sentence for senior partner Timothy Morgan Robinson.
