Quite frankly the Information Commissioner seems not to be bothered upholding Information rights.

Subject: Clarification and Objection to Handling of My Complaint Under FOI Instead of Data Protection

Dear FOI Team,

I am writing in response to your automated message dated June 20, which suggests that my original submission should now be resubmitted as a Subject Access Request (SAR) to subject.access@cabinetoffice.gov.uk.

Firstly, I must point out that I submitted a complaint using your designated form, which you initially classified as a Freedom of Information (FOI) request. Only after some time did you then claim it required two separate forms of identity and redirected me to submit it as a SAR—despite it being clear from the outset that this was a data protection matter.

This handling has caused unnecessary delay and confusion, and strongly suggests a lack of understanding or inconsistency in how the Cabinet Office interprets its obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.

To reiterate:

• My request concerns personal data, not general information, and was therefore not appropriate to be treated as an FOI.
• You are now requiring a different submission via a separate email address despite receiving the necessary information initially.

This appears obstructive and contrary to the principle of accountability under UK GDPR Article 5(2).

I therefore request:

1. That my original submission be properly treated as a valid SAR from the original date submitted.
2. A written explanation as to why it was misclassified.
3. An assurance that this matter will be escalated to the Data Protection Officer for review.

If I do not receive a timely and satisfactory response, I will be raising this matter with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for failure to handle a valid data protection request in good faith.

With respect to your office I must point out I am receiving the same oblique intent in Australia IBAC and OVIC  who are not prepared to provide me Dunkleys tape recordings in Operation Dunham informing me I am already aware of their serious content in regard to this despicable man. 

However I thank you for your response but I insist that you deal with this matter at hand which appears to be of great distaste and perceived  criminal behavior as such I attach my response and failure to provide the location of my daughter will cause further offense to me and my family and the PM’s name to be fully disclosed in court proceedings as with oblique intent. Quite clearly I reserve the right to publish my next song:
