Subject: Re: Notification of Assessment Outcome – CASE-20246844 [SEC=OFFICIAL]
Dear Mr. Gotham,
I write to notify SIS and MI6 of the outcome of my correspondence, as I am submitting a formal complaint regarding serious allegations of misconduct, criminal activity, and procedural irregularities related to Matthew Dunkley, which require immediate investigation. These concerns stem from failures to disclose relevant evidence and issues within the oversight and investigative processes handled by both IBAC and OVIC.
IBAC Formal Complaint (Ref: F243411550406, 24 December 2024):
I requested the disclosure of evidence concerning Matthew Dunkley, along with allegations of misconduct and criminal activities that necessitate thorough investigation. Despite repeated follow-up inquiries, the response from IBAC has been delayed, and critical documents have not been provided.
OVIC Formal Complaint (Ref: CD/25/5885, 11 February 2025):
I raised a formal complaint addressing procedural irregularities, breaches of data protection, and the lack of a timely response from IBAC. This complaint also highlighted the failure to disclose the requested information.
Follow-Up Communications (February 2025):
On 5 February 2025, I received a response from IBAC regarding my FOI request (Ref: CD/25/5885), outlining the process. However, several key documents were missing. I subsequently submitted a follow-up on 11 February 2025 to OVIC, requesting an investigation into IBACโs failure to meet its obligations.
Despite the formal complaint and the response from IBAC, the lack of transparency and incomplete evidence disclosure remains a significant concern. The failure to provide these critical documents and the inability to adhere to procedural regulations undermines trust and suggests a potential cover-up.
Given the gravity of this matter, I am requesting further assistance or guidance from MI6 to escalate this issue or determine whether this case warrants a higher-level investigation. I firmly believe that the issues outlined require further scrutiny and immediate action.
Kind Regards,
Martin Newbold
