28th February 2025

On 26 February 2025, I received a response from the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO) regarding my Information Access Request (Reference 24/365). This response, issued by Mandy Cashmore, Information and Records Officer, acknowledges my request but once again fails to provide the key information that has been repeatedly requested.

Despite numerous follow-ups, crucial details—including full disclosure of records held, internal communications, and proper engagement with my complaints—remain absent. The failure to properly investigate or disclose relevant data not only raises concerns about procedural integrity but also brings into question the credibility of their investigative team.

As this situation continues to unfold, it highlights the systemic barriers placed in the way of individuals seeking transparency and accountability. The response I received today is just another example of the persistent failure to provide answers, reinforcing the urgent need for reform in these processes.
